This review is designed to prepare students for the assessment about animal behavior. Reviews are a great way to incorporate learning and fun. Theses are the games I've used in the past with the review sheet:
- basketball review (if you get the question correct your team gets a chance to shoot)
- Connect 4 (if you answer the question correctly your team gets to place a sticky note on the graph - usually 5 x6 depending on how many teams you have - and the goal is to connect 4 before any of the other teams)
- Grudge Ball (each team is given 10 x's on the board. Once a team answers correctly they get a chance to shoot, if they make it they may erase 2 x's from the board, if they miss they may only erase 1 x. The team with the most x's at the end of the game wins. If a team looses all 10 x's they have to make a shoot in order to gain 2 x's to be back in the game)
The assessment uses a variety of methods for which the students will answer: Complete sentences, Short answer, multiple choice, diagrams and matching.
