Use these task cards to guide students through the revision of their narrative writing for ideas, organization, word choice, voice, fluency, conventions, and presentation. Revision is often one of the most challenging steps in the writing process, but this resource makes the task interactive, collaborative, differentiated, and reflective.
Depending on how you choose to incorporate them, these task cards can be used for modeling with exemplars, working with partners, working in small groups, rotating through learning stations, and revising individual narratives. Furthermore, you can create your own questions and activities with the blank task cards template.
This product contains 56 questions on task cards featuring images of students writing. In addition to the task cards, this zip file includes the following handouts: peer response sheet, reflection handout, and narrative proofreading checklist.
