Activity 1: Students read a sample of student’s writing to complete an Emotional Report Card.
Activity 2: Students identify “heartbeat moments” in a sample of student’s writing and determine what phrases/ sentences the author used to create them.
Activity 3: Students work with their draft to complete an Emotional Report Card.
Activity 4: Students add “heartbeat moments” to their writing using Emotion Sentences provided in this lesson.
