Product Description
Revolution integrates mathematical vocabulary, symbols and numbers enabling students to consolidate concept knowledge by comparing and classifying angles. The scoring system supports numeracy by integrating addition and multiplication. Revolution is played in groups of two to four and is suitable for both heterogeneous and homogenous ability groups. Ideal for collaborative work and math centres.

This pack contains three differentiated decks of cards, ideal for a variety of pedagogical purposes.

Australian Curriculum Mathematics/Year 6/Geometric reasoning

Content Description

• Investigate, with and without digital technologies, angles on a straight line, angles at a point and vertically opposite angles. Use results to find unknown angles (ACMMG141)

Elaborations

• identifying the size of a right angle as 90° and defining acute, obtuse, straight and reflex angles

• measuring, estimating and comparing angles in degrees and classifying angles according to their sizes
