I used this as Bellwork/hook for the first day of UNIT 4 in 7th grade TX History. We put the TEKS up on the board, filed in the blanks as we went over the I can & I will statements for the unit and discussed the unit like a preview of what was to come. Then I had them create a "Unit Preview"Cartoon as homework to show what they thought the unit would be about. The rest of the lesson that day was about the vocabulary for that unit.
