This is for a WHOLE unit on the Revolutionary War. I sell the items individually (see my store to see examples of the assignment and Power Point that you would be purchasing), however, this is a highly discounted price since it is a large bundle. Make sure you do not purchase my Power Point separately because the same PowerPoint is posted here are well.
This has everything you will need to teach the Revolutionary War Unit. In my Revolutionary War I included the following main topics:
1st Continental Congress
Shot Heard Around the World (Lexington and Concord)
Declaration of Independence
Advantages and Disadvantages of both sides
Patriot and Loyalist
Treaty of Paris
Articles of Confederation
Northwest Ordinance of 1787
I have used this with Middle and High school students and it works great for both levels.
You will get the following items:
Power Point on the Revolutionary War
Notes that go along with the PowerPoint
Guided Notes for the students to go along with the Power Point (these are in the same file, as notes)
Self Studies for some of the objectives (there are self studies on Objective #3 and Objective # 5 Only)
Homework that matches the Power Point (called the Objective and Vocabulary Sheet)
Lesson Test (4 Versions)
Declaration of Independence assignment
Lexington and Concord Assignment
Revolutionary War Homework Sheet
Who’s Who and What’s What of the Revolutionary War Assignment
Rev. War WebQuest
Reading and Mapping Assignment

New Nation and New Money Project

Creating A Nation Project
** There is a Unit Plan typed up guide to know when you would go over the material and the order. This is set up for 16 days (50 min class periods), however, there are more projects that can be done to expand the unit to make it longer or items taken out to make it shorter, depending on your time frame.
I break the Power Point/Notes into Objective numbers, for example Objective #1 covers 1st Continental Congress and Lexington and Concord, Objective #2 covers Declaration of Independence. This keeps it manageable for the students and teacher; thus, students know what was learned on each day.
I have used this unit many, many times and have GREAT success with student’s retention of material.
