Included: 29 terms with three clues each; an empty BINGO card; an example of a filled-in BINGO card; and a cover page showing examples of the terms.
Use these 29 terms as a BINGO review game, “spelling” bee, end-of-class filler or study guide. Each term has three different questions. Items will print so that each term and its three questions fit on the front of an index card which you can use year after year.
I supply my students with blank BINGO sheets and they write whatever 24 terms they want (plus a free space) in the blanks. As we play (with a student caller) students write down information they want to remember for the test. The winner of one game becomes the caller of the next game.
25 terms include: Treaty of Paris 1763, tarring and feathering, cutting of New England, treason, House of Burgesses, representatives, Sugar Act, Stamp Act, French and Indian War, tax, Boston Massacre, redcoats, patriots, loyalists, bayonet, musket, Boston Tea Party, committees of correspondence, minutemen, First Continental Congress, Second Continental Congress, Declaratory Act, Declaration of Independence, Battles of Lexington and Concord, Battle of Trenton, Battle of Saratoga, Battle of Yorktown, Common Sense, and shot heard round the world.
