In this map activity for the American Revolution, students complete 9 tasks on the map and answer 8 questions about Revolutionary War events and people. An answer key is included where applicable. This is appropriate for both World and US History. This can best be completed by students individually or in pairs. This would be great for a sub!

Sample tasks and questions include:
--Who were the Sons of Liberty and how did they contribute to the patriot’s cause?
--Where were there typically more Loyalists living than Patriots and why?
--What was the purpose of the Proclamation Line of 1763?
--List and explain 3 noteworthy events that happened in Boston (or Massachusetts) from the start of the unit to 1775?
--draw a line representing the location of the Appalachian Mountains
--label each of the 13 colonies
