Notes, test and 2 activities for the Revolutionary War curriculum for Virginia Studies (VS5). Includes two versions within the .zip folder--one pdf is the 2008 materials (VS5abc) and one pdf is the 2015 materials (VS5abcd). The 2015 version is slowly being implemented across the state and adds information (about Richmond, VS5d) and takes out significant information. This document contains both versions so you can use whichever version your school is following.
The Virginia Studies curriculum for 4th or 5th graders in Virginia covers a lot of material. It is critical that the information is presented in an easy-to-read format that will allow students to reference the information again and again. This document includes one page notes for each of the SOLs from VS5a to VS5c, which covers the Revolutionary War period. Each page includes a title with the SOL covered, 1 or 2 essential understandings to summarize the material, essential questions and their answers. They are great for interactive notebooks
