Gadsby’s Tavern was a popular meeting place at the end of the Revolutionary War for top political figures such as Washington, Jefferson, John Adams, Madison, Monroe, and Lafayette. These prominent patrons enjoyed good food, entertainment, and a place to discuss the intricate formation of the newly created United States of America.
