Revolutionary War on Wednesday - A Unit

Revolutionary War on Wednesday - A Unit
Product Description
This unit offers a huge array of activities to build comprehension and introduce historical fiction to your class. Through the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne, your students can be transported into history in an engaging and easy to read format.
All of the activities contained in this huge unit are Common Core Aligned for third and fourth grade students. You will want a copy of the text for each student, or at least for each pair of students.
There are detailed lesson plans that give you 19 full days of activities, including assessments. There is also a Historical Figure Study element that could easily add 4 or 5 more days AND a Battle Display option that can add 2 or 3 more!!
I have also included a link to watch the School House Rock video teaching about the Revolutionary War.
