This is an inexpensive, easy and fun way to reward a child who is motivated by attention. This printable contains 46 congratulatory sayings that you print on colored paper and cut into strips (you'll see very light cutting guides). The child takes them home to show their parents and builds a paper chain with them. Each day the chain grows. One family I worked with strung the chain across the kitchen!
Tips: Use in conjunction with a behavior chart or clip chart so the student can earn a couple a day. Have the child choose his/her favorite colors on which to print the slips. Make a big deal out of each slip when it is awarded: high fives, handshakes, praise. Ask the child how long the chain is every few days. This is an editable file so you can add the child's name onto some of the slips. For example: "Nice job, friend!" can quickly be turned into "Nice job, Ella!"
I've included a PDF in addition to the DocX file just in case you have any trouble printing.
