Need a classroom behavior management system for your whole school year?? Here is a great idea to implement! As fifth grade teachers we came up with a reward ticket/card. Students receive a card each quarter of the school year. We printed the cards on a colored piece of card stock. The card consists of R's and A's. When students forget their homework, the teacher uses their hole punch to punch an A out of the card. When the student breaks a rule, the teacher punches the R. Every quarter there was a number that students couldn't lose of A's and R's. If they met the expectation, we gave students a reward of extra recess, hour of games, hour of electronics, etc. Every quarter it becomes more difficult for students to attend (the number lessens). This will hopefully create a environment where they strive to attend and do their best to NOT lose a punch! This can work for any grade, but is currently typed for fifth graders. Enjoy!
-Attached is the punch card template for every nine weeks/ quarter.
-Also, is attached a letter to parents for the beginning of the year so they know the system.
