With principals screaming "nonfiction" at their teachers, this project is sure to please. Students research a non-fiction article, essay, or speech that interests them and analyze it for rhetoric, diction, and syntax. The output of the research is either a Prezi, Google Slides, or PowerPoint, depending on what the teacher is trying to accomplish.
This is best used as a summative for a unit on non-fiction, primarily focusing on rhetoric, diction, and syntax. Teachers can choose to have student present the material or simply turn it in. My students use Google Classroom for everything so I had them submit it through that platform.
If you are looking for more information on how to teach rhetoric, or have any other questions please message me!
This is my first product on TpT so your gracious critiques are coveted. Thanks!
