Description
These five rhetorical analysis exercises are great for warm ups, formative assessment, closure, pair work, sub plans, homework, and AP Lang exam items. Each exercise offers a short passage, a prompt, and space for student response. Following each exercise are teacher notes. In this set, passages are taken from non-fiction pieces by Mark Twain, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Martin Luther King, Jr., Anna Quindlen, and Daniel Defoe.
