PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

What do Nike, Pedigree, and SPCA have in common? Each use rhetorical appeals (ethos, logos, and pathos) to persuade viewers and consumers.

The following is an introductory lesson to rhetorical appeals: ethos, logos, pathos. Included is a PowerPoint presentation featuring ads from Nike (LeBron James), Beef It's What's For Dinner, Pedigree, and SPCA. Two of the ads link to YouTube.

Guided notes for students to follow along are included. The lesson is interactive, asking students to apply their new knowledge. Answers to the questions are provided in the "notes" section of the PPT. In addition, there is a six-question quiz included.
