Product Description
These skits are a fun and engaging way to bring the appeals to pathos, logos, and ethos to life for your students and classroom!

The instructions for the appeals skits are simply to plan and perform a minimum 30-second skit (you could easily expand to a minute or more if desired) in which the persuasive scenario appeals to the assigned rhetorical appeal. I usually give my students ten minutes to prepare. Then as each pair or small group performs, the rest of the class identifies the appeal. I like to film the skits and show the winning ones to my other classes. Plus, the students love watching their own skits!

Included in this packet are 12 different scenarios, each assigned to the various appeals, for a total of 36 different skits.

Print, cut apart, laminate if you wish, and go!

Check out the preview for more details in the Teacher Notes and examples of various skit prompt cards.
