This sample contains 2 sets of the same cards. Only Difference is wording: use of What or Which? The first set asks, “What rhymes with..?” The second asks, “Which rhymes with..?” Both are grammatically correct; usage often depends on where you live or what you are more comfortable with. Decide which of the two sets you will use and adjust your printer to only print those pages.
Note: 9 cards with "What rhymes?" 9 cards with "Which rhymes? 18 cards total.
Clip cards are a great activity for independent practice at centers or small group time. Adhere included answer tabs to back of cards for self-correction.
Children will identify the rhyming pair on each card, attach a clothespin to the correct image, and flip the card to check their work. Use of clothespins or clips helps strengthen the pincer grasp. As an alternative to clothespins, you could use counters, seasonal erasers, theme related items, or dry-erase markers.
This sample set complements any of my three Rhyme Clip Cards Sets. No duplicates.
