Pre K level rhyme practice. This is how I introduced rhyming to my students. We all looked at pictures and then thought of words that sounded like them. We then wrote the rhyming words on the board and saw what they al had in common. My students quickly noticed that the endings were the same. We then talked about how if you change the beginning sound and leave the ending the same, you will create rhyming words. I then did one of the pages with my students in class and sent another home for homework. Then for the following three days, I had one on their desk for morning work for them to complete on their own.
