*Rhyme Time Sets: Find the picture in the row that rhymes or does not rhyme with beginning picture card. 6 different game boards all with 2 levels of ability with pictures only, picture and word, just word fun descriptions (18 in total including self assessment cards)
*Rhyme Time Word Match Up: Students use picture cards to match with pictures on their game board. (3 levels of game boards. Pictures, pictures and words, just words)

RF.K.2d Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC
RF.K.2e Add or substitute individual sounds (phonemes) in simple, one-syllable words to make new words.

First Grade Common Core Standards addressed in this unit:
RF.1.2a Distinguish short vowel sounds in spoken single-syllable words.
RF.1.2c Isolate and pronounce initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in spoken single-syllable words.
RF.1.2d Segment spoken single-syllable words into their complete sequence of individual sounds (phonemes).
RF.1.3b Decode regularly spelled one-syllable words.
