Product Description
Through playing the game Odd Man Out, students can discriminate beginning and/or ending sounds from seeing and identifying the picture cards. The student then selects which picture card does not belong based on the way you play the game.

Rhyming:
1. Place 3 cards at a time on the table. The cards are color coded.
2. Say the pictures on the with the card. (words are provided separately)
3. Have the student repeat the words.
4. Ask the student to listen to the ending sounds and identify the two cards that rhyme. The card that does NOT rhyme is the Odd Man Out.

Beginning Sound:
1. Place 3 cards at a time on the table. The cards are color coded.
2. Say the pictures on the with the card. (words are provided separately)
3. Have the student repeat the words.
4. Ask the student to listen to the beginning sounds and identify the two cards that have the same beginning sound. The card that does NOT rhyme is the Odd Man Out.

Optional: If students are reading, you can use the word cards and have student read the words independently and identify the Odd Man Out.

There are 15 matches, playing in any a single way. There are a total of 45 picture cards and an additional 15 word cards.
