Description

This products contains 56 rhyming words / word family flip books to help students become familiar with words that rhyme. These books are great for teaching rhyming words and word families!

To prepare the rhyming words book, students will color the pictures and then cut apart the booklet as described on the "I Can" chart. They will then stack the pictures and either adhere the pictures with a small amount of glue, or an adult can staple the book together.

This packet also contains a page that can be used as an extension activity. I also have my students use a yellow crayon or marker to highlight the rhyming part in each word.

Photocopy friendly! All rhyming words booklets are in black and white and students will only need one copy each to complete the activity.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to make the dotted lines appear (as shown in the thumbnails above) you need to save the file to your computer BEFORE printing. The lines will NOT appear if you are printing straight from the TpT download.

**All rhyming words on each flip book page are spelled the same at the end. (For example: I used tail, pail, sail, etc. I did not include words like whALE which are spelled differently at the end.)
