Rhyming is a tough skill for many of my little ones, particularly those with articulation disorders. These rhyming buddy sheets are designed for early rhyming practice as well as articulation.
Each worksheet targets one initial sound. Have the child say the picture word then change the initial sound and say again (ex. bake-rake). There is space to write the new, rhyming word below its buddy. Spelling will be consistent between the two words to drive home the rhyming pattern and reinforce literacy skills.
Includes the following sounds/letters in the initial position: b, c /k/, d, f, g, h, j, k, l (2), m, n, p, r (2), s (2), t, v, ch, sh, th.
Feedback and follows are always appreciated!
