Rhyme Time for Preschool – Introductory Flashcards, Centers and Follow-Up Printables
These activities, centers and games are for introducing and practicing the concept of rhyming sounds. The emphasis is on how the words sound, and not on spelling or reading them. I have labeled the cards for reference, and for those learners who are ready for word recognition. The same 18 pairs of pictures are used in every activity.
*** Rhyming Cards Set – 36 pictures/words, 18 pairs. Print on cardstock, and cut out the cards to use in the games. (Color)
*** Rhyming Large Flashcards Set. 36 pictures/words, 18 pairs. These cards can be used to introduce rhyming words pairs to a small group. Can also be used for matching, pairing and concentration memory games (print 2 or more copies). (Color)
