Are you looking for ways to provide intervention to your students who are struggling with their rhythmic understanding for ta and ti-ti, or quarter notes and eighth notes? Are you wanting to track specific data to help your students meet their growth targets? Inspired by RTI (Response to Intervention) strategies, I created this set and have used it in my own classroom to help my struggling students, by providing one-on-one intervention while my other students are engaged in exciting rhythmic activities!

Included in this set:
*Materials for your binder:
--Binder covers and 1", 1.5", and 2" spines for your rhythm intervention binder
--Standards sheet (can be used to list national, state, and district standards pertaining to ta and ti-ti)
--Rhythm intervention tracking sheet (allows you to track the progress of students in all of your classes throughout the year, using the levels limited, developing, proficient, and advanced. Two different versions are included.)
--Sample pictures of binder
--Directions for compiling the binder

*Rhythm Intervention Materials:
--Rhythm intervention assessment sheets for one-on-one work: Includes two pages of teacher-directed questions, a rhythm writing sheet, and a rhythm dictation sheet
--Suggestions for intervention

*Rhythm Assessment Suggestions:
--Links to free and paid products from my store and the stores of others for practicing ta and ti-ti
--Descriptions and links to blog posts for sample rhythm assessments for identifying those students who need intervention

*Rhythm Centers Suggestions and Materials:
--Links to free and paid products from my store and the stores of others for practicing ta and ti-ti in centers
--Centers self-assessment sheets
--QR codes worksheets: students read the rhythm pattern, scan the QR code, then listen to that pattern! Standard and stick notation included, as well as two different versions of the worksheet depending on which QR code app you have
--Ta and ti-ti coloring worksheets: Students either color all of the ti-ti's or all of the ta's on each worksheet
--Roll and write worksheet: Students roll a die, then trace the pattern in that column
--Flip-flap book and pattern sheets: Students use flip-flap books to "write" the patterns on the sheet. Download the preview to see an example of a flip-flap book in use
--Centers Signs
--Directions for centers materials, including suggestions for having students choose their own centers and rotate whenever they'd like as you work one-on-one with individual students

I hope you find this set as useful as I have with my students! I will soon write a blog post showing the centers and the binder in use, and will provide data about how many of the students I provided intervention to were able to meet their growth targets!
