Using a well-known story, students will use prior knowledge to read and understand Ricitos de Oro y los Tres Osos (Goldilocks and the Three Bears) en Spanish.
As they read, they will focus on telling the difference between the pretérito vs imperfecto and their uses.
There are two versions of the story. 1) the student must change the verb to fit the story using the pretérito or imperfecto. 2) the student will circle the correct form of the verb in the pretérito or imperfecto.
This material is suited for students learning how to use the pretérito or imperfect at the beginning or intermediate levels (or above depending on the level of the students). This could also be used as an assessment.
