Product Description
Want help teaching inference? Want something fun to add to a science unit on Living and Nonliving Things? Want unique reading center activities?

This is for you! 10 pages, ready to be printed and glued onto index cards or cardstock - makes 10 fun self-checking riddle cards for students to enjoy!

Each Riddle Card has 5 clues leading students to guess something that is a living thing. Success is a key motivation to keep students working on a new skill - in this case, inference. The clues start broad and narrow down to the point that most if not all riddles can be correctly guessed by the last clue. Students check their last guess by looking at the picture on the back of the card.

This set is designed for the younger students with easy to read and very basic clues. If you want harder clues, or different pictures, let me know and I'll be happy to design a set of cards for you!

Keep checking back as I post more sets of Riddle Cards in such categories as Everyday Sounds, The Force Around Us, Beach Day, etc.
