This set of task cards is designed to get students communicating in the target language. When I found it, the activity was called Riddle Schmooze and it was meant to be played with riddles. My version is adapted to use questions from the exam I give at the end of Spanish 2A, but all in Question/Answer form. We use the Paso a Paso 1 textbook chapters 8-12. This could work with any Spanish 2, 3, 4, or higher Spanish class that has practice with House, Hospital, City, Comparisons, and Restaurant vocabulary.
Each task card has either a question or an answer. These are passed out to students so that everyone has at least one question and answer (the set has 62 cards, so everyone will probably have 2-3 cards). To ensure that students are speaking in Spanish, they must memorize the cards and return them to the teacher. Then, they speak with others to find the question for their answer and the answer for their question.
Note: Activity has not yet been field tested. The large number of questions may make this activity more challenging than intended.
