This is an introductory assignment on 30-60-90 right triangles. More detailed notes or examples can be written on the board or these can be the notes that you have students copy or go through. The goal is to enable those who take too long to write notes, are absent when you give the notes, or those who did not fully pay attention or forget what you did in class with notes and examples to follow as they complete the assignment. Problems 1 - 4 are just like example 1, 5 - 8 are like example 2, and 9 - 12 are like example 3 & 4. Making students label the sides of the triangle and write the required equation each time should help them to better understand what to do when we mix the problems up next time.
