Simple flowchart for students to get the procedures for solving right-triangle trig problems.
I've found this most useful after a short calculator tutorial and a part of a lesson of solidifying the labels (hypotenuse/opposite/adjacent) of a right triangle and hammering home the idea of a reference angle that is generically called theta.
Anyway, I hope this helps. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!
I just completed the special right triangles unit and I had several students ask me if I'd provide them with a flowchart for this topic because it helped them remember the steps because they could visualize it while they went through questions!
