Description
This trig lesson contains all the introductory material and practice material to help student who know nothing about trig become knowledgeable and capable of finding side lengths and angle measures in right triangles. Students discover the importance of recognizing where the hypotenuse, adjacent and opposite sides are. After developing a sense of how to use SohCahToa, they quickly learn how to set up and solve trig problems. Along the way, there is a dice game, task cards, practice sheets, notes, a PowerPoint practicing setting up equations and a quiz.

*Naming the adjacent sides and opposite sides (dice game)
*Setting up ratios with respect to an angle
