As colonials rebelled against England, little did they know that they would found the right for Americans to protest throughout the course of history. As United States citizens, we found our voice leading to independence. Colonial organizations, boycotts, marches and acts of civil disobedience would transcend time. These types of rebellions are seen today.
This includes a group project about modern rebellions where the students become the teachers for their peers. It also includes an essay prompt with a guide to prepare students asking them "When is rebellion justified?" Lastly, two rubrics are included (presentation and essay.)
