If you have always wanted to use alcohol burners in your classroom, this great safety introduction is something that your students will love! Alcohol burner labs are few and far between, but you’ll love the simplicity and step-by-step instructions that this one includes! Even though your students will be working with a very common liquid (water), you won't even believe how excited they will get to use fire and other pieces of lab equipment like flasks and thermometers! This lab is the Perfect lab to introduce alcohol burners to your students, and it is a great way to also show students how liquids heat over time at different heights above an open flame. This lab is easy to set up as long as you have the equipment listed below, and your students will be so excited! -Small boiling flask
-Test tube stand clamp
-Ring stand with support ring (basically you need a way to safely secure a boiling flask above the burner)
-And a few other lab supplies that any lab has access to
