Product Description
At EYN we feel that map activities are perhaps the single most valuable tool in a World History and Civilization curriculum. For starters, kids like creating maps. More importantly if kids can visualize where the information is occurring then the concept is more likely to make sense to them. This map allows students to visualize the transition from Paleolithic to Neolithic to civilized societies. They will map Neolithic villages like Jericho and Çatalhöyük, as well as early civilizations like Egypt, Mesopotamia, etc.

This lesson can be used independently as a geography skills lesson, or can be used as part of our bigger Rise of Civilization unit.
