Because the video can be found free online this assignment can also easily be used for homework or extra credit (easy for students to access via their phones).
RISK TAKERS: HURRICANE CHASERS documents the men and women of Florida as they prepare for oncoming hurricanes and work to save lives and document the damage these storms cause. The video explains the course and conditions of the several storms while discussing technology that is used to measure the storm and how aspects of hurricanes including eyewalls and storm surges have impacts during landfall.
