This no-prep, engaging project challenges your students to plan and document a road trip to ™ destinations across the United States. This project features real-world connections and opportunities for student choice. This is an excellent fit for any time in the school year when your students are learning about U.S. geography, journal writing, and/or step-by-step planning. It works well for distance learning for students who have access to the internet.
Your students will complete the entire project on Google Slides™. Just post to Google Classroom™ and students will be ready to go. The slides will guide students step-by-step through the following tasks:
Task #1 - choosing destinations
Task #2 - describing attractions at each destination
Task #3 - calculating mileage and gasoline costs
Task #4 - writing journal entries
Task #5 - finding pictures from the destinations
