This is a nonfiction piece about the road to the revolution. It includes the French and Indian War, the acts, the Boston Massacre, and Boston Tea Party. Students are to actively read the story and underline, circle (there are directions on when to do this) all over the passage. Next, they answer questions about what they read. This is a great way to incorporate social studies into language arts!
This directly correlates to Georgia's fourth grade social studies curriculum.
