This lesson teaches how the policies of the British, such as the Stamp Act, Quartering Act, and Intolerable Acts led to events that made the Declaration of Independence unavoidable. Also covered the French &; Indian War, the Boston Massacre, the Tea Act / Party, Lexington & Concord and Thomas Paine's "Common Sense." While this lesson was designed for students taking the Florida End-of-Course Exam - it will work for any Civics, US History or US Government class.
