The events leading up to the American Revolutionary War are often described as stops on a "Road to Revolution".
In this collaborative project students recount the events on this road while explaining their significance and impact on the resulting war.
Each event is listed within the project and students are charged with connecting them to the American Revolution and bringing them into the 21st Century by turning them into stops, exits, rest stops, etc, on a GPS device.
Students use iMovie, MyMaps by Google, MapQuest, and/or other services to create directions on the "Road to Revolution" with each event acting as a stop or exit.
Complete with a rubric and unique and engaging group roles such as "Chief Navigator", "Location Services", "GPS Assistance", and more!
