Road to the American Revolution Vocabulary Word Sort
This is a great way for students to review the events / road leading to the revolution - which is a focus of 4th Grade Georgia Social Studies. Students will sort clues related to the French and Indian War, Boston Tea Party, Boston Massacre, and Stamp Tax. By sorting these terms and characteristics into categories, students can review the information in a new and meaningful way.
This activity aligns with the Georgia Performance Standards for Social Studies in the 4th grade. It is great to use during your American Revolution unit, or as a review for high-stakes testing, such as the Georgia CRCT. This activity may work for other states as well.
Included in this product:
- A printable for matching traits of several Events leading to the Revolution ( French & Indian War, Stamp Act, Boston Tea Party, Boston Massacre, Quartering Act)
- Answer Key
- Larger version of traits and titles - this version is perfect for a collaborative group activity where students sort the cards using chart paper
