The Lost Colony of Roanoke was the first attempt at a permanent American Colony. It remains a mystery as to what happened to the colony, as it seemed to just disappear completely. There are several theories but nothing concrete. Use this historical mystery to engage students and allow them to develop their own theories. Turn social studies into a fun and entertaining time of the day for students with this resource.
