This Roaring 20s Jigsaw makes test prep fun! The Jigsaw Method is a step into student-directed learning. It works best as a review strategy. It’s highly effective with gifted learners. Students break into groups, which in essence are a complete puzzle. Then each “piece of the puzzle” meets with pieces of other “puzzles” to discuss ways to present the assigned content back to the original puzzle!
This product is editable! I have included step-by-step directions, tracking sheets, labels, 2 topic sheets, and recording sheets! The product includes Langston Hughes, Louis Armstrong, Charles Lindbergh, Babe Ruth, and Henry Ford. This falls in line with my Georgia 5th grade curriculum and is probably consistent with yours!
My students loved this strategy when I used it to review for a WWI test! I had planned on it taking 1 class period and it lasted 3 days. I would plan on 2-3 days for sure!
