Product Description
I was young when I heard Robert Frost speak aloud two of his favorite poems that I include in this mini-unit. He loved nature, and captured the joy of the seasons. Young children, in grades 2-5 can also enjoy and ponder what Robert Frost wrote in the two poems I enjoyed…

Who was the man Robert Frost? When Papa is a Poet is read aloud to the students, the teacher can pause reading every once in a while, and students can keep track of the events of Robert’s life and figure out what inspired Robert Frost to write his beautiful words. (The story is told from the pointof view of his oldest daughter).

Once the students get to know Robert Frost, they will enjoy his poems more thoroughly. Students can also synthesize the information they learned from Papa is a Poet to write an Acrostic Poem about Robert Frost.

I have included two of Robert Frost's link to two of his poetry readings.
