This one page reading covers the Reign of Terror and Robespierre's role in it. It begins by describing the conditions that helped move France into the radical phase and then explains the laws and events that occurred, like the Law of Suspects and de-Christianization. It then describes how the terror ended with the death of Robespierre. There are 4 questions at the end with an answer key on the next page.

Quick reads are great as bell ringers, reviews, or a quick activity to compliment a lesson plan. Also great if you do not have a textbook!
