- Print, laminate, and cut out all pieces on card stock paper. The slider can be used as is or by gluing the sliders to foam or card board so it is sturdier (gluing one slider on the front and one on the back).
- Cut out the counters (extras are provided). They can be used by themselves or glued to bottle caps for extra dimension.
- Place the addition mat on the table or in a tray in front of your child, have them pick an addition card and place it in the addition card space then use the counters to count out each number per section. They then use the slider to slide the counters to the bottom section to count all the counters and then place an answer card in the answer space.
