This hands-on counting game is sure to engage your little learners while developing number sense to either 10 or 20. Perfect to play in pairs or small groups, simply print and laminate a game board (choose from 10 or 20 frame) for each student. Choose to assemble a numeral or picture die - both are provided. Children take turns to roll the die and add nuts & bolts (or other small hardware) to their board. The first to fill their ten frame/s is the winner! (You could use any counters to play, but nuts & bolts are more fun!)

Use this activity as a math center or a 'Fast Finisher' task to work on counting skills with your little learners in a hands-on way. By using 2 dice it becomes a simple addition game!

**This game is also part of a larger resource - Let's Count Robots! - which features flash cards and worksheets for numbers 0-30.

Have fun!
