One of a kind ROCK CYCLE DICE GAME with 3 possible lab options done individually or in a group. LOADED with high level content presented in an “easy to understand” pedagogical format. COLORFUL and ENGAGING throughout. Multiple assessment options including a quiz.

Instructor has 3 lab options:
1. Completion of the lab with actual dice.
2. Completion of the lab given a provided scenario - no additional materials necessary.
3. Completion of the lab given a provided scenario with additional lab procedural matching and “in-lab” content assessment.

This LAB contains the following:

-Detailed and thorough section just for background content on: minerals, magma, cooling and crystallization, igneous rock, weathering and erosion, sediments, deposition, compaction, cementation, lithification, sedimentary rock, uplift, high temperature and pressure, metamorphic rock, melting, and the rock cycle.

-The formal lab template with instructions, materials, detailed procedure, and examples.

-Lab option 2: Students have more choice in this version in that they have to complete the empty boxes within the virtual lab. This option is where the instructor has autonomy in what pedagogical strategies are used. The instructor can choose what choices are given to the students and what questions are proposed. Given are each dice roll, instructions, station location, rock cycle process, description, image, and DETAILED station summary. 21 rolls given.

-Lab Option 3: Standard lab using provided template, station signs, additional content, and dice.

-Multiple leveled lab assessment questions. 18 total including tables and charts.

-UNIQUE ASSESSMENTS for each rock cycle process (lab stations) complete with detailed content and images. 12 separate colorful assessments!
