Rock, Paper, Scissors An Addition Game From Sally's Spot
This addition game is for a group of 2, 4, or 6 children. It has addition facts through 10. It is based on the rock, paper, scissors hand game.
Place all the equation cards in one pile. Place the rock, paper, scissors, and wild cards in another pile. Before starting, decide which 2 children will pair up to play rock, paper, scissors. The children will all draw an equation card, read it, and solve it. Then they will all draw from the rock, paper, scissor, wild card pile. The 2 children paired will show their card to each other to see who takes both cards. If the wild card is drawn, the child may choose rock, paper, or scissors before seeing the other child’s card. If there is a tie, both children draw another special card to determine who wins the pair of cards. Play continues until all cards are gone. The child with the most cards wins.
Rock beats scissors.
Paper beats rock.
Scissors beat paper.
