Form for research notes on rocks of each type (sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic) and a mineral. It provides space for description, location, and important facts. The important facts section has been left general without guidance to hardness or alkalinity, etc so that it could be used with multiple grade levels. However, these designations can be added. It has also been developed with handwriting lines, and used as such even with students up to 5th grade. However, it can be modified and reposted by request for writing lines in place of handwriting lines if desired. The form has also been used for first grade students partnering with a third graders.
