>Each player selects a starting spot.
>Stack the Level 1 or Level 2 set of game cards face down in the center of the game board.
>Player number 1 selects a card from the top of the stack and explains the meaning of the figurative language statement.
>The player then rolls the die.
>In order to move the player must roll the exact number for the die in the space immediately ahead; i.e., if the next block has a die with a 6, the student must roll a 6 to be able to move to that space.
The student will never move more than one space in a turn, and may not move at all depending on the number he/she rolls.
>Each player takes a turn explaining a statement on a card and rolling the die.
>The first player to make it to the last die in his/her dice trail is the winner.
